Classico decaf is a medium roast ground espresso, the mildest of our three roast intensities.

Pressurized Packaging

Our exclusive pressurized packaging system protects your espresso from oxygen and humidity, the two biggest factors that affect freshness and taste. Our packaging is hermetically sealed with all the oxygen removed and pressurized with nitrogen. The specialized “illy barrel” our coffee is packaged in maintains increased internal pressure to ensure consistent quality and superior taste preservation for up to 24 months.

Preparation Method

Classico decaf ground espresso is precision-ground for preparation with traditional espresso machines that accept ground, tamped coffee. For the best espresso shot, complete with rich, long-lasting crema, we recommend using seven grams of ground espresso, complete with an expert tamp.
