Use Tactics to command surrounding allies to perform actions such as an advance or cavalry charge, which can trigger Dramatic Success. Assembling troops into a Large Force maintains high morale, coordinates attacks, weakens enemy strength, and enables devastating Grand Tactics.

Choose the right weapons and Companions

Wield a variety of weapons including swords, spears, gauntlets and crescent blades. Mastering weapons helps the protagonist reach a new Rank and increase abilities. Use horses for travel and select a Companion to fight alongside you, switching control at key moments.
