The bezel — formed three-dimensionally in a time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing process — is finished beautifully with a circular hairline treatment on the top surface and mirror polish on the slopes. The screw-lock crown is designed in the same octagonal shape as the bezel for a more compact case with no sacrifice in outstanding G-SHOCK shock resistance. The dial features an effective 6-9-12 inset dial layout. The mirror finish applied to the hands and the grind-polished indexes add further refinement. The inset dial ring at the 9 o’clock position features a design motif inspired by the iconic octagonal bezel of 2100 Style watches. For the GMC-B2100AD, light blue vapor deposition is applied across the surface of the dial for a fresh, crisp look.

Sophisticated metal form created with precision crafting

Undergoing multiple meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, the bezel and case are precisely crafted down to the intricately shaped back, which is the key to the precision fit. The bezel shines with an attractive circular hairline finish on its top surface. The band, which reproduces the dimpling of the very first G-SHOCK band, but now in metal, offers enhanced textures by using differentiated hairline and mirror finishes.

Full metal shock-resistant structure: Delivering both strength and beauty

The watch is guarded by a full metal exterior, with stainless steel material used for the bezel, case, and band. Fine resin buffering components are installed between the bezel and case to help absorb impacts to the module. Additionally, a three-pronged structure is employed for the lugs on the case to disperse shock to the connective part of the band.

Employing a slim module, the watch maintains the same sense of size as the previous GM-B2100 while offering a multi-hand dial, wider range of functions, and full-metal construction.
