The Aqara Hub M2 is a smart home control center. It supports Siri voice control, automation and scene control working with Aqara smart home devices and other HomeKit accessories. It can also control traditional home appliances with infrared. With dual Wi-Fi antennas and 2×2 MIMO wireless technology, it offers strong Wi-Fi signal and wall penetration capability, wide signal coverage, and stable signal transmission.

Works with Apple HomeKit
The Home app lets you control the hub and its accessories. Aqara accessories can also be combined with other HomeKit-enabled accessories to provide you with a smart home.

IOS 10.3 or later is recommended for controlling this HomeKit-enabled accessory. To automatically control this HomeKit-enabled accessory from home, you need an Apple TV with tvOS 10.2 or later, an iPad with iOS 10.3 or later, or a Home Pod set up as a Home Hub.

Security
HomeKit technology provides advanced security with end-to-end encryption and authentication. Data related to your home is encrypted and stored in the keychain on your Apple device. It is also encrypted during the transfer between your Apple device and the accessories you control at home.

Siri voice control
You can control Aqara accessories with Siri on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or HomePod. Just say Siri “ich bin leihe”. Then the lights go on, the curtains are closed and a cozy home is waiting for you.

App control
With the Aqara Home app (iOS or Android), you can control your home anytime, from virtually anywhere.

Technologically advanced
Aqara Hub uses a body shell design and NXP i.MX6 CPU, 256MB DRAM, 256MB Flash, and an MFI chip. It has two integrated antennas. The use of the FR-4 PCB with a large ventilated base creates airflow from front to back, increasing heat dissipation and ensuring the reliability of the hub over a longer period of time.

No installation, just 3 simple steps required
1. Connect the hub to the power supply.
2. Open the Aqara Home app and press “+” in the upper right corner to add the hub.
3. After successfully adding the hub, add the remaining Aqara accessory as needed.
