Depending on the model, some accessory parts can stay in the oven during cleaning for even more convenience.

The only thing that gets hot is the food
Miele ovens are cooled on all sides. This ensures that controls, handles and adjacent cabinets stay relatively cool to the touch. The multi-layer panels insulate the oven door effectively and ensure a low temperature on the outside of the door, providing safety and protection against burns.
Maximum safety in any situation
An added level of safety: you can lock the appliance and prevent unintentional operation, e.g. by children. In an emergency, the safety switch-off is invaluable: the Miele oven will switch off automatically if the maximum operating time is exceeded. This means that safety is guaranteed even if you forget to switch the oven off.
Optimum results with additional moisture
The effortless way to perfect results: adding moisture leaves meat tender and juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside; and when baking bread it helps achieve the fluffiness and browning that everyone loves. For extra convenience, you can programme times for the bursts of steam. Moisture plus is also used in various automatic programmes.
Stress-free cooking with success guaranteed
Successful cooking, every time: with the electronically controlled programmes, you can cook a multitude of different dishes automatically. Whether you are baking a cake or cooking poultry – there is no need to select the function or the temperature or duration. The degree of cooking – for meat, for example – can be set individually. And with the additional microwave function, your dishes will be ready even more quickly.
Carry on cooking? Only if you want it to
Stops the cooking process for perfect results: the oven compartment can be cooled down completely after the cooking process so dishes don’t carry on cooking in the oven. Or the oven can keep the food at serving temperature by opening and closing the motorised door. This ensures that your dishes are cooked to the perfect degree and no further – even if you aren’t there to take them out of the oven straight away.
Simple solutions for special cases
Special situations require special parameters: the special programmes provide solutions for more out-of-the-ordinary applications. If you are proving dough or drying fruit, for example, all you need to do is select the programme – the applicable temperatures and oven compartment climate are already preset.
Makes food crispy
Certain foods need a beautifully crisp exterior for that perfect finishing touch: chips and potato croquettes, for example, are best cooked in a dry oven compartment climate. This is achieved through controlled reduction of the moisture in the oven. You can select the Crisp function individually.
Perfect cooking without supervision
Cooking based on core temperature ensures the best results: with Miele’s patented wireless food probe you can cook meat, fish and poultry with perfect precision. And there is no need to keep watch over the oven because the time left display shows you when the food will be done. The wireless probe is very easy to use and is stored in the oven door for easy access at any time – bringing added convenience to your cooking.
More freedom, safety and convenience
With our innovative Miele@home system, you can exploit the full potential of your Miele appliances and make your everyday life even smarter. All intelligent Miele domestic appliances can be networked conveniently and securely. Operation is simple – whether you use the Miele app, voice control or integration into existing Smart Home solutions. The appliances are networked via a home WiFi router and the Miele Cloud.
Responds when you approach
You can control your oven without pressing a button or touching it at all. When you approach the appliance, the oven compartment will light up or the display will switch on. Buzzers signalling the end of a cooking process can also be switched off by approaching the oven – for added convenience. If an appliance is in operation behind a closed cabinet door, MotionReact emits an acoustic signal and switches the appliance off if necessary.
Optimised access to your food
Baste or turn food over conveniently and at a safe distance from the hot oven compartment: with the FlexiClip runners, you can easily pull baking trays or wire racks out of the oven without the risk of burning yourself. Our patented system allows you to arrange the fully telescopic runners on different levels to suit your needs.
Leave time management to your oven
Simply set the start time, end time or duration of the cooking process and everything will be ready when you want it. The cooking process ends automatically when the programmed cooking duration comes to an end. The integrated minute minder is also a convenient option for many situations. Furthermore, in the event of a power cut, the set time is saved for up to 150 hours.
Easy to understand
Guaranteed user convenience: numerous languages are available to choose from for the display text, so users can operate the appliance in a language they understand. MultiLingua is available for all appliance controls as of DirectSensor S.

A real eye-catcher: the door features a sophisticated cushioning mechanism for elegant opening and closing. It opens to 90° – for convenient, unobstructed access to the food in the oven compartment.
